I spent a lovely few hours with friends at the de Young Museum this afternoon to watch Melissa Cody create her modern interpretations of traditional Navajo Weavings. She is the current Artist in Residence at de Young (through December 27, 2012). If you have a chance, I highly recommend a visit and a chat with her.
